☛ Industry –Institution Collaboration: The Industry-Institution cell is vibrant on campus.

Students focused:

• Industrial visits, in-plant training are routine activities
• Experts from industries are invited to guide projects for students, guest lectures, seminars, webinars and workshops.

Academic Engagement:

• Providing customized training (3 to 6 months) to Industry personnel

Partnership for CSR Activities:

• Institution has been associated with industry for training women and youth of the community.

☛ Collaboration with other Organizations:

• This unit is a part of The Directorate of Technical Education, TN. We have trained 2000+ candidates (students ,community youth) under this scheme

Magalir Thittam: ( A TN State Government Scheme)

• Around 900 youth were trained and placed by us through this Programme.

Tamil Nadu Skill Development Council:

• DOTE is a training partner of TNSDC and VRP is the training center for DOTE ;so far 120 unemployed youth were trained and provided employment

NGOs:

• NGOs collaborate with us for using our resources(trainers, equipments, infrastructure) to conduct courses for the community

☛ Collaboration with Alumni:

• Most of our Alumni are well placed in reputed Organizations, across the Globe.
• They have instituted scholarships for students, donated books and equipments, supported in knowledge sharing, facilitated Industry collaboration

Sports & Extra Curricular:

• Sports and Games, extracurricular, NSS activities for students to understand the nuances of team work, hone their personality, build their confidence to lead.
• Students have won various prized at the State level in Sports and Games, Paper Presentation.

Placement activity starts in the beginning of every academic year. Training programs are arranged to assist the students, with balanced set of technical skills, interpersonal skills and with a positive attitude to life. Industry Institution interaction is vibrant with a number of industrial visits & in-plant training for students of all discipline. The college is continuously working to provide quality technical man power to suit every organizational need.
