INDUSTRY INSTITUTION INTERACTION

 

Institution is constantly interacting, collaborating and gaining support from various industries for activities such as knowledge sharing ,through guest speakers, Industrial Visits, Equipment for laboratories through CSR, Placement, Skill training etc. .It is now mandatory for Institutions to sign MoUs with Industries.

According to AICTE norms, Polytechnic Colleges are required to sign an MOU with a minimum of 5 industries. The objective of this initiative is to strengthen interactions between the institution and industry. Industries may provide support in one or more ways, such as internships, guest lectures, project guidance, placement assistance, and establishing laboratories. In return, the institution could reciprocate by providing candidates for placement whenever the industry requires. VRP has signed MOUs with the following industries so far.

VRP has also signed an MOU, with Mohamed Sathak A.J College of Engineering,Chennai for getting support in the areasof Faculty Development, Project Guidance, Workshops Seminars etc.

Institution has been associated with industry for training and providing suitable placement for women and youth of the community.
