This unit is a part of The Directorate of Technical
Education, TN. We have trained 2000+ candidates (students, community youth) under this scheme
Magalir Thittam- ( A TN State Government Scheme)
Around 900 youth were trained and placed by us through
this Programme.
Tamil Nadu Skill Development Council
DOTE is a training partner of TNSDC and VRP is the
training center for DOTE. So far 120 unemployed youth were trained and provided employment.
NGOs
NGOs collaborate with us for using our
resources(trainers, equipments, infrastructure) to conduct courses for the community.
VRP’s Principal receives accolades
ISTE chapter (Tamilnadu
& Puduchery) presented the “ Excellence in Vocational Training” Award to Mrs Devika Sivakumar in Jan’2010
for the contributions made in the field of vocational training.
