About The College

  • VRP College was established in 1982 by V. Ramakrishna Charitable Trust to perpetuate the memory of the founder late Sri V. Ramakrishna.
  • It is the first self financing Polytechnic of Tamil Nadu
  • It is situated in the northern part of the city of Chennai against a background of an industrial belt, extending over 14 acres with all facilities for focused and fun filled education
  • The year 2007 marked the 25th Anniversary of the College and this milestone was graced by His Excellency Hon'ble Shri. Surjith Singh Barnala, then Governor of Tamil Nadu.
  • The College is committed to uplift youth of the community through quality training, technical consultancy and other related services.

Kavitha Dutt is Honorary Consul of Vietnam in T.N.
              The bilateral relationship between Vietnam and India is growing, resulting in significant outcomes this year, Ambassador of Vietnam to India Nguyen Thanh Hai said here on Monday. While speaking at an event where Kavitha Dutt, joint managing director of The KCP Limited, was appointed the Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Tamil Nadu, he said, Vietnam and India had been traditional friends for a very long time and now, there was a comprehensive strategic partnership. “We are trying to promote bilateral partnership further for the benefit of the people of both countries, Particularly the People of Tamil Nadu. Investments from Vietnam to India and vice versa are on the increasing trajectory,” he added.
