SC/ST Scholarship Scheme

SC/ST Scholarship Scheme:

This scheme aims at recognizing and promoting quality education amongst students to SC/ST by providing full financial aid from Government.

         Eligibility Criteria:

        ·         To get this scholarship, Parent’s annual income should not exceed Rs 2 lakh per annum.

        ·         This also applicable for converted Christians.

    Student studying in our college can avail Rs 35,000/- per student per annum.

    1         DR.V.L.DUTT MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

Objectives:-

      1.        Encourage meritorious students to enrol for Diploma Programme

      2.       Improve the quality and overall performance of college in Academics, co-curricular, sports and extracurricular activities. 

      3.       To enable placement drive from more and better industries.

      4.       To provide an avenue for fulfilling the objectives of the charitable trust to help society in the field of education.

Eligibility Criteria:-

      1.        Candidate scoring an overall percentage of 70% in the qualifying examination shall be eligible to apply for the merit scholarship at the       1^st year level.

      2.       Candidate who has received merit scholarship in 1^st year and scores an overall percentage of 70% in the First year (I & II sem together) without arrears shall be eligible to receive merit scholarship in the second year.

      3.       Candidate who has received merit scholarship in 1^st year and second year overall percentage of 70% in the Second year (III & IV sem together)  without any arrears shall be eligible to receive merit scholarship in the third year.

      4.       The max number of students awarded will be

Diploma in Mechanical  Engineering                      -   2 students only

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics  Engineering    -   2 students only

Diploma in Computer Engineering                          -   2 students only

Diploma in Automobile Engineering                       -   1 student   only

Diploma in Electronic & Communication Engg.    -    1 student  only

       Amount of Scholarship will be 50% Fees concession / year

  ALUMNAE SCHOLARSHIP  

1.       Mr.Dhilipkumar Memorial Scholarship - 

for 2^nd year 7 student & 3^rd year 7 students, each students will get Rs.7,000/-/ year

2.       1999-2002 Mech Alumni Scholarship  –

1^st year 2 students,  2^nd year 2 students & 3^rd year 2 students, each students will get Rs.5,000/-
