REPORT ON GENERAL MEDICAL CHECK UP AND EYE SCREEINING TEST

To impart the importance of staying healthy and feeling good about ourselves the general medical check -up and eye screening test is organized for students and members of staffs on 11.10.2023 in our college premises,

OBJECTIVES OF HEALTH CAMP

·         General Health Check-up

·         Eye Screening Test

·         Assessment of the simple clinical examination related to EYE, BP, PULSE RATE , Hb (hemeoglobin level)

Sports and extracurricular

Sports and Games, extracurricular activities help students to understand the nuances of team work, hone their personality, build their confidence to lead.

Students have won various prizes at the State level in Sports and Games, Paper Presentation and other extracurricular and co-curricular activities

National Service Scheme

The Polytechnic reaches out to the community through NSS. Awards were won at the State level by the College Best Unit 2006,2016 , Best Volunteers-2011, 2012, 2014,2016 and Best Programme officer's award 2010,2013.

Entrepreneurship Cell

Entrepreneurship camp is organized, where the successful entrepreneurs are invited to educate and hone the entrepreneurial skills of students thereby creating an awareness on self employment.

Innovation Centre

This is created with the objective of bringing out the creative potential of both the staff and students and they are encouraged to work towards achieving patents for their projects. The Institution also sponsors such innovative projects.
