Feel of an Industrial Ambience

Between 28th January 2019 and 6th February 2019, 300 students of 2nd Semester , Basic Engineering Department and 12 staff members visited The KCP Limited, Thiruvottiyur,Chennai ,a Heavy Engineering division of The KCP Group.

The KCP has been engaged with various world class EPC and OEM Engineering firms in the infrastructure sectors for over 5 decades.

The Chief Supervisor, gave a brief over view of the different sections and processes such as Welding, cutting, Moulding the iron sheets etc., Following this, the Supervisor explained the working of cutting machines and how to operate the welding machines carefully. This Industrial visit has helped students to see, experience and understand the functions of a real time Industry to motivate and develop the students technical knowledge.
